Pebbles are a primordial but passing element, solid but unstable, corroded and altered by time. In equilibrium on an imaginary line, I walk on stony, slippery terrain, underlining the complications inherent in an apparently simple act. Particularly during this troublesome historical time, this minimalist action represents the fragility and uncertainty of the foundations of the human species.
